Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for using SolCircuit as an educational planning and simulation tool.
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
These terms explain the conditions for using SolCircuit. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Description of SolCircuit
SolCircuit is an educational, planning and simulation tool for exploring modeled solar configurations. Its results depend on the selected components, stored specifications and supported simulation rules. Features and availability may vary by plan.
User Accounts
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
Appropriate Use
Use SolCircuit lawfully. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass access controls or payment requirements, or submit content that violates another person's rights. Access may be restricted when necessary to address misuse or protect the service.
Saved Projects and User Content
You retain rights to the content you submit. You allow SolCircuit and its service providers to process and store that content as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your inputs and for having permission to submit them.
Saved-project limits and edit access depend on your plan. Ending Pro access can make retained projects read-only; it does not automatically delete them. Saving a project does not constitute professional approval of its design.
Subscription and Billing
Paid purchases are handled through Lemon Squeezy. Review the price, billing interval, applicable taxes and purchase terms shown at checkout before paying. Recurring subscriptions renew according to their purchase terms unless canceled. Access is activated after payment confirmation, which may take time to appear in your account.
Cancellation
Use the available subscription controls in My Account to cancel renewal. Scheduled cancellation normally leaves paid access available through the confirmed paid-through date. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund. One-time passes do not renew.
Refund Requests
The standard subscription refund-request window is seven days. Requests are reviewed and are not automatically approved; exceptional requests outside that window may also be considered. One-time passes are non-refundable, subject to mandatory legal rights. Use the existing support path for a billing concern. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Third-Party Services
SolCircuit relies on third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, data storage and payment processing. Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply when you use those services. External product information may change; verify current manufacturer documentation before a purchase or installation.
Affiliate Links
If SolCircuit presents an affiliate link, it should be identified as such. We may receive a commission when a purchase is made through that link. A link or commission is not an engineering endorsement or a guarantee that a product is suitable for your installation.
Intellectual Property
SolCircuit's software, branding and original service content remain the property of their respective owners. Your permission to use the service does not transfer ownership of that material. Manufacturer names and product information belong to their respective rights holders.
Service Availability
We aim to keep SolCircuit available, but interruptions, maintenance, errors and third-party outages can occur. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free results or that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
Electrical / Engineering Disclaimer
SolCircuit does not provide professional engineering design, electrical advice, installation certification, electrical-code compliance certification or site-specific engineering approval. It does not replace a licensed electrician, installer or engineer.
Green compatibility means only that the configuration satisfies the modeled checks using stored specifications. Results, estimates and a bill of materials are not construction documents or a complete installation plan. They do not guarantee safety, system performance, energy production or savings. Have any physical installation reviewed and performed by a licensed electrician, with qualified engineering review where needed.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SolCircuit is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on modeled results, unavailable service or third-party products. You remain responsible for real-world decisions and professional verification. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to the Service
We may correct specifications, improve features or change service availability. Review current results after changing a project and verify current manufacturer information before acting on it. Changes do not turn earlier simulations into professional approvals.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the current version. Review updated terms before continuing to use the service; any notice required by applicable law will still apply.
